I began my career with CPS in February 2016. I am from Bowling Green, KY and a Western Kentucky University graduate. I played baseball while on the Hill and also had the privilege of playing a couple of years of semi-pro baseball. After college, I have spent the majority of my career in the automotive business. I have owned a couple of service businesses before selling out to Valvoline. My latest adventure was Service Manager at a Chevrolet Dealership. Outside of the workplace, I have 3 beautiful kids, two girls and a boy that keeps me busy.

I began working with CPS in 2008 after a friend recommended I apply for a sales position. I relocated to Cincinnati, OH, and now cover Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. My background includes living a dream in 2007 and 2008 playing in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints. I grew up on a dairy farm in northwest Wisconsin, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2006 with a degree in General Business Administration

I began my career with CPS as a Sales Representative covering the Chicago area in 2001. The company had me relocate to northern Minnesota to cover Minnesota and the Dakota’s. In 2005 I had the opportunity to purchase part of the company and I became a principal at Construction Product Sales. Today, I oversee all aspects of the company and cover Minnesota and North Dakota. In 2000, I graduated from the Southern Illinois University with BS degree in Biology.

graduated from the University of Illinois – Chicago with a BA in Economics. Soon after graduation I began working as a sales representative for the company. In 2005 became a Principal of CPS and currently oversee all aspects of the business and cover Central Illinois, Northern Illinois, and NW Indiana.

In September of 2006 I was promoted to a sales representative covering Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2001 with a BA degree in Marketing Education and a minor in Business Administration.

I began my career at CPS at the end of 2018. I grew up in Wisconsin and Iowa and then relocated to Arizona. After attending college in Arizona, I took a job as a sales representative with a coffee company that relocated me to Illinois. I got my start in the industry in 2005, first with a distributor with American Fabricator Supply Company. My focus was calling on structural and miscellaneous steel fabricators selling fasteners, tools, and accessories in the Chicagoland area. In 2011 I became a regional sales manager for CS Unitec. I covered 4 states directly and managed independent representatives in 8 other states in the Midwest and Western part of the country. I currently live in Oswego Illinois with my wife and daughter. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, fishing, and golf as well as other outdoor activities.

I came aboard Construction Product Sales as VP of Business Development in June 2022. I am excited beyond measure to be part of such a great team. We at CPS working as a team, will continue taking what we currently do very well to the next level in all of our business facets.

Before CPS, I had an 11+ year experience with an industry leading industrial tool manufacturer as a Director of Sales. During my time there, I achieved consistent year over year top line sales growth while also gaining respectable bottom line margins and improving profitability. I lead a direct sales team while also partnering with and managing independent representative agencies/firms. I was also involved with product management/development and worked in the e-commerce channels within our customer base.

Previous to that, I worked for two independent representative firms within our current marketplace. From boardrooms to job sites and everything in between, I always am ready for the next challenge. I look forward to facing it with a firm handshake and a smile.

I am based out of the Twin Cities in MN. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, especially hockey (Go Wild!). I also enjoy snowboarding in the winter and getting out in the lake in the summer with my family.

I began my career with CPS in 2022. I have been in construction sales nearly my entire life. As a kid, I started repairing tools for a construction supply distributor in Chicago for a couple bucks a tool. Now, nearly 30 years later, I have chosen to stay and make my career in this industry because it is something I’m truly passionate about.  I have worn many hats in the construction world including working for a General Contractor, an Outside Sales Representative for a large distribution company, and a Territory sales manager for large manufacturers such as Fein and Spyder. This gives me a unique perspective in solving problems. I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. After shuffling around different areas for my career, I ended up settling on the Southside of Chicago with my Daughter Elinor. In my personal time you can usually find me enjoying my other passion, playing, writing, or listening to music.

Hello everyone! My name is Tyler Curtiss I was born and raised in Grand Rapids MN. I attended Grand Rapids Highschool and Itasca Community College where I graduated this past spring in 2021 . I am very excited to be joining the CPS team. Personally, I grew up on a small hobby farm just north of Grand Rapids. I hope to meet each of you in a short time.

Growing up in central Ohio and graduating from the University of Dayton, I have 20 years’ experience working at heavy equipment dealers as rental coordinator, service manager and general manager for a rental company.  In early 2016, I moved to St. Louis to work for Stanley Infrastructure as a territory manager representing their mounted and hand held hydraulic tools and most recently with Club Car, calling on commercial utility customers in the Midwest.

During personal time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Kristina, playing golf, woodworking and I am a huge sports fan.  My favorite teams are the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, University of Dayton Basketball, Ohio State Football and the St. Louis Blues.

A Manufacturer’s Representative is a company that provides sales and service for one or several manufacturers of complementary product lines within a defined territory. These companies sell products directly from the manufacturer to wholesale and retail customers.
